Challenges for the PJGO Editorial Board after 25 years of management

Abstract

In 2017, the Peruvian Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology - SPOG celebrated 70 years of its foundation, with the mission of contributing to the development of science, for the benefit of Peruvian women. In a special issue, the Peruvian Journal of Gynecology and Obstetrics - RPGO recalled then that the official SPOG body appeared in 1955 under the direction of Dr. Lucas Molina, with the name Gynecology and Obstetrics [Ginecol Obstet, or Ginecol Obstet (Peru )], which kept it until 2006, when it was called the Peruvian Journal of Gynecology and Obstetrics (Rev Peru Ginecol Obstet - RPGO), to distinguish it from homonymous publications of Spanish-speaking countries.
