Abstract

It is established that mesonephric remnants rest of the lateral margin of the cervix, can suffer malignant change. Mesonephric Adenocarcinoma of the cervix uteri, is a rare lesion, and its incidence in the Instituto Nacional de Enfermedades Neoplásicas, is 0.03 % in over all cervical carcinomas, and 1.9 % in adenocarcinomas of the uterine cervix. Cervical cytologic studies have little value in the detection of the early disease process. We considered that a combination treatment of radium plus radical surgery to endocervical and mesonephric adenocarcinoma in clinical stage I and II, is the best procedure.
